Gibbous Retreats

A Wellness Experience for Nurses

July 22-26, 2026 | Twin Peaks, California

We invite you to step out of the noise, and into a space where nothing is required of you.

At Gibbous Retreats, we’ve created a space of restoration, reflection, and quiet expansion for women. A sanctuary for nurses to exist beyond the demands of daily life and gently return to themselves.

This is not an escape, but a return. Not an indulgence, but an essential practice that allows you to reconnect with your humanity, your joy, and the deeper purpose that called you to this work.

Rediscover the enchantment of who you are.

Through thoughtfully guided sessions designed specifically for female nurses, alongside yoga, creative practices, nourishing meals, music, and time immersed in nature, you’ll have the time and space to rest, reflect, and choose the most meaningful way for you to reconnect with your true self.

Just as the moon moves through phases of expansion and retreat, this exclusive retreat offers a space for you to recalibrate your inner world, to be held in community, and the opportunity for you to reclaim your glow.

About the Retreat:

Nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains, The Perch offers a rare blend of rustic charm and modern serenity. It is a place where the air is thinner, the trees are taller, and the quiet is profound, providing the perfect "nest" for you to land, exhale, and rediscover your peak self.

Your registration is an all-inclusive investment in your well-being, covering:

  • 5 Days / 4 Nights (Wednesday, July 22 – Sunday, July 26, 2026) at our beautiful mountain sanctuary.

  • Nutritious, well-sourced meals crafted by a private chef to fuel your body and soul.

  • Accommodations tailored to your preference.

  • Daily restorative practices, including all-levels yoga, meditation, and a healing sound bath.

  • Curated Programming, featuring seminars specifically for women and nurse leaders, creative arts activities, and outdoor excursions, each designed to support your nervous system and personal growth.

How do I know if this retreat is right for me?

If you are a nurse looking to take a deep breath, recenter yourself in nature, and find community among like-minded peers, then yes, this is for you. Whether you want to spark your creativity, move your body through yoga, or simply reflect on your personal and professional journey, we have created this space specifically for your renewal.

The Experience: Seminars & Activities

Our programming is designed to help you turn down the external noise and tune into your own inner wisdom.

Highlights include:

  • When Everything Feels Urgent: Strategies for finding balance and regulating your nervous system in a high-pressure world.

  • Self-Compassion & Self-Talk: A deep dive into the internal narratives we carry.

  • Tuning In: Re-defining your "North Star" and what success truly looks like as a leader in a healing profession.

  • Trusting Your Own Voice: Cultivating the confidence and compassion needed to lead and live authentically.

  • Wabi-Sabi and the Art of Flower Arranging: Learn to release the pressure of perfection, celebrate nature and find peace in the present moment while creating something beautiful to adorn your world.

  • Ayurveda and Hormone Balancing: Learn about your dosha and how food, movement, and self care practices can support you through life’s hormonal changes.

  • Creative Play & Movement: From watercolor painting workshops, to guided hikes, and musical moments.

  • Solo Time: Plenty of space to recharge in the beauty of nature or by booking a private spa treatment.

Meet Your Hosts

Britt DiNatale, RN

Britt DiNatale is a second-degree nurse who spent a decade delivering nursing care in Emergency Departments around the Washington DC metro area following a successful executive-level career in corporate marketing and communications.

With a passion for nurse leadership development, Britt also co-created and facilitated the Nurse LEAD Program, which trained numerous cohorts of nurse leaders across the country to gain confidence in a wide range of skills from engaging teams, to navigating change, and communicating effectively.

Music has been a constant thread throughout Britt’s life, from her master’s degree in ethnomusicology studying how music shapes community and movement, to years performing as a semi-professional singer-songwriter in New York City. She sees music as a powerful channel for finding and experiencing your voice, creating space for emotional expression and authentic connection.

The thread running throughout Britt’s career is a passion to give the healthcare workforce, particularly nurses, a voice, advocating for improved work environments, reconnecting with the purpose and meaning of their work, and seeing nurses as change agents in needed healthcare transformation.

Britt also sits on ANA’s National Workplace Violence Prevention Workgroup and continues to follow her passion for musical performance by sitting on the Board of Trustees for Music for All Seasons, a non-profit using the power of live music to support communities in need. She will draw on this diverse background to offer participants creative pathways to reconnection and renewal.

Jaclyn Grace, RYT-200

As a former dancer, Jaclyn first discovered yoga in 2007 at a gym in San Francisco. She was immediately drawn to the rhythm, flow, and familiarity of movement.  The physical outlet quickly deepened into a lifelong practice, upon her discovering that yoga was not just as a physical practice, but a quiet unfolding; a way to soften, to listen, to return. In the years since, her journey has taken her around the globe, allowing her to study under countless esteemed teachers and unroll her mat in twelve different countries.

A Yoga Alliance certified teacher (RYT-200), Jaclyn completed her foundational training in Seattle. Driven by a deep commitment to lifelong learning and a desire to serve her students fully, she has continued her education and holds advanced certifications in Yin, Slow Flow, Hormonal Balance through Ayurvedic Wisdom and Mantra & Myth.

Deeply inspired by art, music, and nature, Jaclyn brings a creative eye and sensory awareness to everything she does. Through her rhythmic sequencing and empowering guidance, students are invited to explore their own boundaries, consistently leaving her classes feeling centered, joyful, and perhaps a little lighter than when they arrived.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time, returning after some time away, or deepening a long-standing practice, the emphasis in Jaclyn’s classes is always on doing what feels good and right in your own body. The practice is never about striving for perfection, but about cultivating presence.

    • Layers, layers, layers: Think light tanks or tees for the day and a cozy sweatshirt, fleece, or light jacket for the evenings by the fire.

  • CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

At Gibbous Retreats, we understand that life as a nurse is inherently unpredictable. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible while maintaining the sustainability of our intimate, small-group experiences. Because we commit to our venue and vendors months in advance, we must adhere to the following policy.

Refunds of the remaining balance (total cost minus $500 booking fee) are available based on the following timeline:

    • 90+ Days Prior (Before April 23, 2026): 100% of the remaining balance will be refunded minus $500 booking fee.

    • 60-90 Days Prior (April 24 - May 23, 2026): 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded minus $500 booking fee.

    • Less than 60 Days Prior (After May 23, 2026): No refunds will be issued. At this stage, all funds have been committed to venue, catering, and programming costs.

If you find yourself unable to attend within the 60-day window, you may transfer your spot to another nurse.

    • It is the original participant’s responsibility to find a replacement and handle any private reimbursement.

    • You must notify us at GibbousRetreats@gmail.com with the new participant’s name and contact information at least 14 days prior to the retreat start date so we can collect their necessary waivers and dietary needs.

In the event that the retreat cannot be held due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to wildfires, mandatory evacuations, power outages, or government-mandated closures, Gibbous Retreats reserves the right to reschedule the event.

    • In such cases, all payments made will be applied to the rescheduled date (to occur within one year of the original date).

    • Per our venue agreement, cash refunds are not available for "Acts of God" or Force Majeure events. We will work diligently to provide a new date that honors your investment.

    • Because we cannot offer refunds for last-minute emergencies, illness, or work-related mandates, we strongly recommend that all participants purchase "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) travel insurance. This is the best way to protect your investment should an unexpected conflict arise.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to GibbousRetreats@gmail.com. The date the email is received will serve as the official date for calculating refund eligibility.

  • The word Gibbous refers to the moon when it is more than half-illuminated but not quite full. It is the phase of growth, momentum, and increasing light. Just like the moon, we don't need to be "full" or perfect to be radiant. We believe every nurse carries an incredible amount of light—even when you feel a bit shadowed by the demands of the job. This retreat is about creating the space for that light to expand until you feel whole again.
